The form for money held in deposit accounts. It is organised around an Operator Code rather than a department, which is what makes it feel unfamiliar.
On mptreasury.gov.in: Cyber Treasury → Pay Challans (under For Unregistered User) → Deposit Fund Transfer. No portal login is required.
Use it when the money is going into a treasury deposit account operated by a named office, rather than to a department's revenue head. If you have been given an Operator Code, this is your form.
The first dropdown offers exactly three:
Set the deposit type before anything else. Changing it clears the district, the Operator Code, the Head of Account and the department in one go. Change it halfway through and you will be refilling the whole middle of the form.
The Operator Code is the field this form turns on, and it is the one people arrive without. It identifies the specific office running the deposit account.
It is not a free-text box and there is no search. The list is produced from deposit type plus district, so the order is fixed:
If the dropdown is empty after all three steps, the combination genuinely has no operator codes registered. That is a real answer, not a loading failure: check the district and the deposit type against your paperwork rather than waiting.
Two fields on this form are display-only, and both follow from choices above them:
If either looks wrong, the fix is upstream. Change the Operator Code or the district; there is no way to correct these directly.
This form carries a captcha that the Common Challan and Commercial Tax forms do not. It sits near the bottom, just before submission.
It is worth knowing about for a practical reason: a captcha is the one part of any challan that no tool can fill for you, and it means this form cannot be completed entirely hands-off. Fill everything, then read the code and type it yourself.
Unlike the other two forms, Deposit Fund Transfer has no “Add Challan” button and no grid. There is nothing to add a row to. You fill the form, you submit it, that is one challan.
So if you have five deposits to pay, that is five passes through the form. There is no batching available here, at any level, because the portal does not offer it.
The Operator Code lists are the tedious part: they change rarely but they are buried behind two dropdowns, and there is no way to search them on the portal.
MP Treasury Autofill keeps the operator codes for all 55 districts, so you pick your office once and it fills the form from there. It handles Common Challan and Commercial Tax too. You still type the captcha and choose the bank yourself.
